PEACE GATHERING 2019 - CHURCH’S CHICKEN
Recently there has been a rash of unfortunate events that have unfolded at fast food chicken restaurants across our nation. One of those unfortunate events happened in one of our local communities. After attending a candlelight vigil for one of the victims at the Church’s Chicken in Del Sol, we felt it was in our calling to bring the community together to support the families of those victims. On Saturday November 16th, LTN brought together families of the victims, along with members of numerous police agencies, community leaders, and local artists to celebrate the life of Maribel Ibañez and help uplift those close to her. On August 3, 2016, LOVE THY NEIGHBOR partnered with a large group of San Diego influencers to produce PEACE GATHERING 2016. At the cusp of numerous police killings across our great country, we felt the need to bring together the community, neighbors, police agencies, community leaders, and local businesses, to talk peace.
